Pharmacy
Use this section to find information on local pharmacies in Wales, including contact details, opening times and services offered. Should you need services such as blood pressure and cholesterol checks which are offered privately please contact the pharmacy direct. Please ensure you contact the pharmacy prior to travelling to check they are open and have the products required.

If you need details of a pharmacy that is open out of hours (after 17.30 pm Monday to Saturday and on Sundays/Bank Holidays) please enter the postcode, town/city or service name, then under "Filter by", click "Out of Hours Service". Saturdays are classed as a normal working day, but please check the opening times as some Pharmacies are only open for a few hours.

Medicines Usage Reviews.
Your pharmacist can also provide a Medicines Use Review. If you take regular or repeat medication your pharmacist may be able to offer you a Medicines Usage Review. This is often known by its initials ‘MUR’. Through an MUR your pharmacist will ensure that you are getting the best possible benefits from your medicines. Most pharmacists can offer an MUR. But please note some pharmacists cannot offer an MUR because they do not have space for a private consulting area.

NHS Flu Vaccines
If you are 18 and over and in an eligible group to receive your free NHS flu vaccine from the GP this year you may be able to visit a pharmacy to receive it.

Trained pharmacists will check that it is safe and appropriate for you to have a vaccination and you will need to fill in a questionnaire. Before travelling to a pharmacy for a flu jab you should contact the pharmacy to ensure that you are in one of the groups who are able to have a flu jab in that pharmacy (this may differ between pharmacies depending on the agreement they have with their local health board) and to ensure the pharmacist is able to offer you an appointment when you arrive. To search for a pharmacy in your area, enter your postcode or town/area and click on the ‘NHS flu vaccinations’ filter.
