Local Services Search

Use Map (new!)

Use this section to find information on local pharmacies in Wales, including contact details, opening times and services offered. Should you need services such as blood pressure and cholesterol checks which are offered privately please contact the pharmacy direct.

How to Use
To search for a Pharmacy, select an option from the 'Filter by' section and enter a postcode or town/city.

Please ensure you contact the pharmacy prior to travelling to check they are open and have the products required.

Out of Hours Pharmacy

For details of pharmacies open out of hours (after 17.30 pm Monday to Saturday and all day Sundays/Bank Holidays) click "Out of Hours Service" under the "Filter by" section and enter the postcode, town/city or name of Pharmacy. Saturdays are classed as a normal working day, but please check the opening times as some Pharmacies are only open for a few hours.

Medicines Usage Reviews.
If you take regular or repeat medication your pharmacist may be able to offer you a Medicines Usage Review. This is often known by its initials ‘MUR’. Through an MUR your pharmacist will ensure that you are getting the best possible benefits from your medicines. Please note some pharmacists cannot offer an MUR because they do not have space for a private consulting area.

Smoking Cessation level 3 Pharmacies
The service allows patients to access free NHS support and Nicotine Replacement therapy for up to 12 weeks to support patients to have a successful, quit attempt, without the need for a prescription.

NHS Flu Vaccines
If you are 18 and over and in an eligible group to receive your free NHS flu vaccine from the GP this year you may be able to visit a pharmacy to receive it.

Trained pharmacists will check that it is safe and appropriate for you to have a vaccination by asking you to fill in a questionnaire. Before travelling you should contact the pharmacy to ensure that you are in one of the groups who are able to have a flu jab (this may differ between pharmacies depending on the agreement they have with their local health board) and to ensure the pharmacist is able to offer you an appointment when you arrive.
