  • March 2017 - Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

    Ovarian Cancer Action are promoting Ovarian Cancer Awareness all this month.

    Ovarian Cancer Action say, "Our new campaign highlights the true extent that women are putting themselves last when it comes to health and a general confusion around the symptoms and screening tests for the sixth most common cancer among women, ovarian cancer".

  • May 31st - World No Tobacco Day 2017

    Tobacco – a threat to development

    Every year, on 31 May, WHO and partners mark World No Tobacco Day (WNTD), highlighting the health and additional risks associated with tobacco use, and advocating for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption.

    The theme for World No Tobacco Day 2017 is Tobacco – a threat to development

  • April 7th - World Health Day

    WHO launched a one-year campaign  - Depression: let’s talk. The goal of the campaign is that more people with depression, in all countries, seek and get help. Follow the link below for more information.
