Are You Feeling Unwell?

If you are feeling unwell, please call NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47. The helpline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For patients' safety, all calls are recorded. Calls from landlines and mobiles cost 2p per minute, this will be in addition to the telephone providers access charge.

Deaf or Hard of Hearing

If you are deaf or hard of hearing you can call the NHS Direct Wales textphone on 0845 606 4647, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or call us through BT Typetalk on 1 8001 0845 46 47.

Calling NHS Direct Wales using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)

NHS Direct Wales occasionally receives calls from VoIP/ Internet phones. VoIP / Internet phones enable people to make telephone calls over the Internet.  Unfortunately, NHS Direct Wales are not currently able to call back to a VoIP / Internet phone.  If you call using VoIP/ Internet phone please let us know as we may ask you for an alternative mobile or land line number as there are times that we may need to call you back.
