The Young ME Sufferers Trust (Tymes Trust) is the longest established service for young people with ME, their families and the professionals who care for and educate them. The Tymes Trust offers a range of support services to young people with ME and their families, including an advice line staffed by people who either have a child with ME or have had ME themselves. You will be able to talk with someone who understands the illness from firsthand experience, advisers have full information and telephone back-up from an expert panel. If they do not know the answer to a question, they will find someone or direct you to someone who does.

There is also a Professionals Referral Service which allows doctors, teachers, social workers and other professionals to consult colleagues with knowledge and experience of ME in children. Someone from the Referral Service can expertly explain ME to your doctors, teachers or social workers.

In 2010 the Trust received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service - the MBE for voluntary groups.
