Looking for a helping hand to improve your health?
Then look out for a Live Health Information Surgery being held in your community.
What is a Live Information Surgery?
A Live Information Surgery will help you to access high quality, trustworthy health information and advice in familiar community surroundings, such as a local library or community centre.
At a Live Surgery an NHS Direct Wales Health Information Specialist will be available to speak to you, providing personalised health information, helping you to make informed decisions about your health and lifestyle choices, whether you're looking for information about:
- A diagnosed condition
- Local support groups
- Making healthier choices
- Your rights as a patient
Dates and locations of Live Surgeries will be advertised and promoted on the NHS Direct Wales website, and locally in the community where the surgery is to be held. If there's a surgery being held in your area, you don't need an appointment, just drop-in and ask your question.
