Magnesium test

Introduction

A magnesium test is used to measure the amount of magnesium in your blood. Your GP may suggest a magnesium test if you have symptoms such as nausea, weakness, cardiac arrhythmia (irregular heart beat) that may be caused by abnormal levels of magnesium, calcium, or potassium.
